I think myself incredibly fortunate that I was recommended Mr Daniel Leff.. Firstly, his skills as a surgeon are faultless and nigh on magical. Leading up to my operation he created a team around me which cared for every aspect of my treatment leading up to surgery. Not an easy thing to do but he managed my expectations and kept me informed along the way as to the state of my condition and I was never in doubt that I could get hold of him or a member of his team at any time. Mr Leff was managing everything in the background and at no time did I think that I was forgotten or my opinions and questions ignored. I am aware of his ground breaking breast cancer research too and felt secure in the knowledge that he was The man to be looked after in the area of great cancer.

I saw Mr Leff initially at Charing Cross after being diagnosed with breast cancer following a routine NHS mammogram. Mr Leff was both understanding and straightforward in his advice and explanation of the surgeries that could be offered. We together agreed to transfer to the Harley Street Clinic. Mr Leff quickly organised everything including scans and discussions to decide on the best route forward. I was kept informed and consulted at all stages. Surgery took place and was successfully completed by Mr Leff and I received thorough and brilliant care throughout. Also after care by his nursing team was exemplary I have no hesitation in recommending this surgeon. I believe I received the best treatment possible.

I am extremely glad to be in hands of a such a caring doctor who has put me out of my worries for good. I had a great experience with Dr.Leff throughout the process from the first appointment to the surgery I felt so safe and comfortable. From my first appointment with Dr Leff I felt he understood me, based on my medical history and sympathised with all my concerns. He explained all protocol fully, making me very aware of each part of the process moving forward. He introduced me to other doctors along the way to help us make our very informed decisions about the type of surgery I was having. I was with Dr Leff for almost 2 years before our final surgery, and I felt 100% confident in my decision with his help to complete the procedures we had discussed. His bedside manner was excellent- even on the morning of the procedure with final discussing and calming nature. And obviously follow up care was great. I am very happy with the outcome and end result of my procedure.

I recently underwent 2 surgeries under the care of Mr Leff. Mr Leff and every single one of his team I have come across have been exceptionally caring and professional throughout all my interactions with them. My first operation was particularly tricky resulting in unexpected delays. Mr Leff and his surgical team took time in the morning prior to the surgery to come see me and went through my case, and answered any last minute questions. Taking time to come and speak to me before the operation made such a huge difference as I was feeling a little anxious about having such a big operation. Mr Leff spoke to my family at great length, explained the process in detail and he was very supportive and reassuring. As a result, our pre-op anxiety eased and I felt calm and at ease, preparing me to go into the surgery feeling very relaxed. My operation didn’t take place until late afternoon but despite the delay Mr Leff and his team patiently waited for the radiology team to get me ready for the operation. I am extremely grateful for all that Mr Leff has done for me. I feel that I received excellent pre-op and post op care and I couldn't have asked for anything better or anyone better than Mr Leff. I am eternally grateful to Mr Leff and can't thank him enough for his expertise and what he did for me.
